These are the same strips found at the drug store for a lot more money. I love the product and Amazon but the shipping time is excessive without explanation. When you buy these you want to plan ahead. They shipped out of Kentucky. I could have walked there and back from Nebraska TWICE by the time these arrived.

they worked fine and met my needs at an excellent price. I would purchase them again from Amazon.

This product is just like the regular One Touch except they're in a package for mail order. We are very pleased with the strips and very prompt shipping.

Works as advertised, tried it on my One Touch Ultra 2 machine and it's perfect.

I have ordered One Touch Ultra strips twice now from Amazon.com and I'm very pleased. If you don't have or can't get insurance this is the way to go price wise. They are absolutely no different than the ones you get from the pharmacy. The box is black and white but who cares about color if the quality is the exact same.

Test strips are test strips! The best thing about these test strips are the price! If you are diabetic you need to test often to maintain healthy blood glucose levels and that can be very expensive. I don't have insurance to cover the expense, so at this price these strips are a great deal. They cost far less from Amazon than from even Wal-mart.

I am a recently diagnosed Type 1 diabetic and I am learning just how expensive it is to live with this disease, even with health insurance. I've tried a few different glucometers and I have to say that I am most satisfied with the Accu-Chek Aviva. Unfortunately, the strips go for about $50 for a box of 50 at retailers such as Target and Wal-Mart. Thank God for Amazon because I get the exact same product for OVER 50% less the cost of buying it at a store. So in review of the product, it work amazingly well and it's a great price. I highly recommend it.

In the stores this cost twice the price! What a shame for people with diabetes to have to be gorged like that just to take care of themselves. No difference between these strips and what you would buy in the corner drug store or supermarket drug store.

I buy 100 strips (2 boxes) at a time. I save about $35.00 over the lowest department store pharmacy price for a single box of 100 strips. I will only order from Amazon's warehouse because I'm assured that the product will be about a year from expiration. My Aviva Monitor is both dependable and accurate and the strips I order from Amazon keep it performing that way.

I had been told that test strips would cost me aboug $100. Am so very pleased to know that I can get them from Amazon for a quarter of that price. Thank you. Nancy

half the price of Walmart and it's the same product, Amazon is great, why pay more?

I just changed meters and love the new Bayer Contour. These strips take so little blood so you do not have bruising on your finger tips.

I decided to convert to these test strips because of cost. I was able to purchase this product for approximately 25% of the cost of my current test strips without a prescription.

Great price and quick delivery! I have to buy these for my cat that is a diabetic - she had no health insurance - this is the price I can find on the internet for them.

What a great deal! Over half the price of what is in the stores. Appreciate being able to order so easily.

WeeklyTrack Diabetes Management Kit (The Complete Diabetes Self-Management Log Book) WeeklyTrack Diabetes Management Kit (The Complete Diabetes Self-Management Log Book)

"Absolutely LOVE IT!!!! Must have journal for anyone with diabetes! I ordered two more! You will not be disappointed. It's so easy to log in your glucose numbers, insulin, carbs, what you ate, exercise, and even daily foot examination. I really like that it's set up as a 52 week book. Everything is right there written down for when you see your doctor. You will be able to track your progress and see your ups and downs. There's even a comment section. I highly recommend this product for anyone with diabetes. Thanks so much! A+++++++++++++"

I've been looking for a really clear log book for my 5yr old son for a while now. I didn't want printed out loose log pages, and I can't stand the logs that come with BG meters. It may take a little getting used to just having a large notebook laying around on our kitchen counter, but we'll adjust. This book is perfect for us! I was pleasantly surprised by the sections in the back of the book where we can log dates and info from Endo appts, as well as from eye exams, dental exams, and healthcare contacts. Every diabetic should own one. We'll be back to order another one next year!

I would highly recommend this journal for anyone who has Diabeties. Recently I was diagnosed with Type 2 Diabeties. I had a little log book keeping track of my sugar level that came with my Glucose monitor and I also had a notebook keeping track of my food as well as any other information I needed to write down. This Weekly Journal is awesome. It keeps track of your sugar, your food intake as well as your exercise routine. It also has room to add any additional notes. Its a 52 Week Journal, everything you need in one place. In the back of the book, you have information you can store for yourself which include dates of any medical procedures such as your A1C test that way you can keep track of these things yourself. I would highly recommend this journal to anyone who has Type 2 Diabeties. Its easy, user friendly and a "must have" for all new patients.

When Lifescan -- the manufacturer of my blood glucose meter -- stopped printing their free log books, they recommended that I try this one. They were right: the format is so clear and easy to use. The way the pages are set up naturally flows with how a diabetic has to keep notes and test throughout the day. The colors and symbols used in the daily charts look cheerful and take a lot of the drudgery out of my daily record-keeping. Plus, the special sections for eyes, teeth, and feet have me paying better attention to my whole diabetes care. This is a quality log book -- well worth the price -- and I would not hesitate to recommend it other people with diabetes!

My sister has been dealing with diabetes for several years now, so I bought her this book, hoping it might help. Well, it sure did! Before, she was so frustrated, because keeping track of her info was a real struggle. But now, with this WeeklyTrack book, her glucose readings have improved because she is managing her diet much better. She said it has helped her to figure out which times of day it is better to eat certain foods, and when is the best time to take her daily walk. Her doctor has been able to help her more, because he can look at the book and see how she's doing in between visits. We recommend this book for all diabetics! By the way, if you are a family or professional caregiver, you might also want to look at Daily CareLog (The Complete Caregiving Diary), a caregiving log book by this same publisher.

Check out these other great items Diabetes Monitors.

* Test strips: A consumable element containing chemicals that react with glucose in the drop of blood is used for each measurement. For some models this element is a plastic test strip with a small spot impregnated with glucose oxidase and other components. Each strip can only be used once and is then discarded. Instead of strips, some models use discs that may be used for several readings.

* Coding: Since test strips may vary from batch to batch, some models require the user to enter in a code that may be found on the vial of test strips, or a chip that comes with the test strip. By entering the coding or chip into the glucose meter, the meter will be calibrated to that batch of test strips. However, if this process is carried out incorrectly, the meter reading can be up to 4mmol/L inaccurate. The implications of an incorrectly coded meter can be serious for patients actively managing their diabetes. For miscoded meters, the probability of making an insulin dose error of 2 units is 50%. The probability of making an insulin dose error of 3 units is 24%, compared to 0.49% when using a no coding meter. This may place patients at increased risk of hypoglycaemia.
