* Test strips: A consumable element containing chemicals that react with glucose in the drop of blood is used for each measurement. For some models this element is a plastic test strip with a small spot impregnated with glucose oxidase and other components. Each strip can only be used once and is then discarded. Instead of strips, some models use discs that may be used for several readings.

I've owned this gem for 8 years now, so I've heard it a few thousand times. It never left my cd player for months at a time. If you enjoy electronic music, its got some remarkable moments. "The Lab" was the track that made me buy this CD, it took many listenings before I realized there is no piano in this song, it's a layered synth. I'm not that dense, this is some cleverly mixed music. It does show its age, there are more intense and drum dominated forms available now and hence I give only 4 stars. "Escaping the Game Grid" is Tron as music incarnate. To give some perspective this Album can reveal moments of early Pink Floyd, Bill Nelson, and perhaps a hint of Moby, not to say that any of these artist appear on this cd, only their souls are revealed momentarily before returning to the heart of the universe or God's shoebox. All songs are instrumental except for the "voice" samples from movies and Nasa, I wouldn't try to dance to this music but it is quite beautiful in its own right. It's probably cheaper than a tank of petrol and quite a bit more entertaining, though it won't burn as long. Your mileage may vary.

A lot of electronic music falls into the category of mindless, droning, repetitive, dance beats, but Technicolor has forsaken the norm and put out what can truly be called electronic MUSIC. Technicolor leaves behind the sterile, overprocessed sounds typical to the genre in favor of warm tones that sound alive and evolving. On the last track there are a few guitars used, though noone is pretending to be a spectacular musician. They keep it simple without losing any inspiration whatsoever. It's an upbeat ending to a well rounded romp through fuzzy tones and lose, laid back beats.

I think I should take up for this album a bit, since the other review wasn't so warm. I think this is a great piece of work that retains a very cool independent feel throughout the album. There is quite a bit of really gorgeous analogue synth work on this album and while its not that groundbreaking, it certainly is damn pretty. Don't let the deconstructive analysis fool ya...this is good music. Fans of SugarPlant and Flowchart will enjoy this immensely

This is not the most informative entry I've seen. I would type the tracks, but that's not my place. They shouldn't discriminate against 228,000-ranked albums...I want a picture, tracks, and a Rolling Stone review, pronto! This is a good album, but nothing more. It's only 45 minutes, and unless you're Prodigy or the Chemical Brothers (with their now blind following), an unknown selection of that length just won't compete. That's a shame, too; this album had potential. It's quite electronic, opting for waves over beeps (let alone "big, dirty beats" for that matter). What results is a very mellow album that falls short of excellence. The melodies are simple but not uncompelling. My favorites are 1,2,8,9 (respectively) "3 intro 1", "Tinfoil Cloud", "Escaping the Game Grid", "The Lab", and "Blue Orange Yellow" which uses a guitar, but not particularly well. One could do worse, but also quite a lot better.

they worked fine and met my needs at an excellent price. I would purchase them again from Amazon.

This product is just like the regular One Touch except they're in a package for mail order. We are very pleased with the strips and very prompt shipping.

Works as advertised, tried it on my One Touch Ultra 2 machine and it's perfect.

I have ordered One Touch Ultra strips twice now from Amazon.com and I'm very pleased. If you don't have or can't get insurance this is the way to go price wise. They are absolutely no different than the ones you get from the pharmacy. The box is black and white but who cares about color if the quality is the exact same.

Definitely the lowest price I have found. I've had no problems with the quality of the strips, although I haven't compared them to strips bought elsewhere. The strips themselves are 5 stars. I've ordered 3 or 4 times in the past few months and the shipping is SO inconsistent, it's quite frustrating. Sometimes shipped and received in just a few days, other times it takes over a week...if you buy these strips, plan ahead, order VERY early.

I am extremely disappointed. This product must be expired or it must have been tampered with, because it gives me ridiculously inaccurate results. The inaccuracy of my glucose results caused me great alarm and stress. I thought I was going to have serious medical consequences with these results, that I went into the emergency room a few times. Finally, my doctor figured out that the problem were the strips, because my blood results indicated much lower sugar levels each time. We even tried them on a brand new glucose monitor and the results were completely inaccurate. Thanks to this purchase that was only $20 I ended up with $250 in unnecessary emergency room and doctor visit fees. I should've known when I noticed that the packaging seemed to previously have been opened, and the price should've been a warning. The saying, "You get what you pay for" was certainly proven to be true with this purchase. I knew it was too good to be true. I will never purchase from this seller again. I just hope that other buyers did not have to go through scary moments like I did.

I was very please with my order of this product. The price was very reasonable. I have priced this item at several local chains as well as on line and the company I ordered from had the very best price I could find. In addition to the price, I was also pleased with how fast I received the item and the fact that it was in excellent condition due to the packaging. BUY WHOLESALE PRICES was well worth purchasing from and I will probably continue to purchase test strips from them as long as they offer the lowest price. My order was placed on a Wednesday and I received it on the following Saturday.

Box is in Chinese, I feel like, I was taken. Will stop buying from Amazon!!!!!!!!!!!

The price for this item was the best I have found. The quality was perfect.

I received my order on time and it was exactly what I ordered. I am buying my test strips exclusively from Deep Discount!

received in good condition. but the expy date is very near so i would not able to use all of medication by the end of the expy date

I have used this brand of strips for years and find them reliable and easy to use.

We received the item in what looked like damaged shipping: a strip had already loosened its way out and fell out even before we opened the Amazon shipping packaging. The box it came in looked frayed and old. The expiry of the product was for April 2010, and the ones you get in the store right now are for April 2011 or later. Thankfully the return process at Amazon was smooth enough. We ended up buying this product in the store, since the expiry date is a concern.

First of all, One Touch Ultra test strips are an awesome product. The one star rating is for Bargin OTC and their lack of customer service. BUYER BEWARE! I attempted to buy this product from Bargain OTC, but they completely canceled my order with out any reason given. When I inquired and respectfully stated my dissatisfaction for the situation and threatened to never do business with them again, the "president", Bryson Burkholder, replied with a nasty e-mail. He called me "slanderous" and accused me of "trying to capitalize on and not someone who was trying to establish a long term business relationship." I was attempting to buy their product... How else do you establish business relationships? He also said, "People like you who threaten small businesses is why our country and economy are in such peril today." So, if you don't want your orders randomly cancelled without explanation, or want to be accused of the country's problems... Don't buy from Bargain OTC. They obviously don't believe in the saying, "The customer is always right!"

This product came quickly as they said and works just fine in my meter. Thanks loads.

* Coding: Since test strips may vary from batch to batch, some models require the user to enter in a code that may be found on the vial of test strips, or a chip that comes with the test strip. By entering the coding or chip into the glucose meter, the meter will be calibrated to that batch of test strips. However, if this process is carried out incorrectly, the meter reading can be up to 4mmol/L inaccurate. The implications of an incorrectly coded meter can be serious for patients actively managing their diabetes. For miscoded meters, the probability of making an insulin dose error of 2 units is 50%. The probability of making an insulin dose error of 3 units is 24%, compared to 0.49% when using a no coding meter. This may place patients at increased risk of hypoglycaemia.
